Who are the East Side Horns?

The East Side Horns are a band of some of the finest professional musicians working anywhere today. They are musicians who have spent their careers backing up most of your CD collection.

From Aretha Franklin, The Temptations, Ray Charles, Diana Ross, The Four Tops, The O'Jays and Stevie Wonder. Also Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Natalie Cole and the list goes on.

The East Side Horns bring all those years of experience playing Soul, Motown, Pop and R&B to the bandstand to present what pop legend Boz Scaggs described as "...the best cover band I've ever heard" The combination of superior musicianship, presentation and versatility makes this band second to none.

About Eastside Music

Eastside Music offers Society, Swing, and Party Bands of all sizes, solo musicians, and comedy revue shows for all occasions, using only the finest area performers including classical musicians from the Boston Pops and RI Philharmonic, and top jazz artists from the RI and Boston areas, including some of the most acclaimed Berklee College teachers and performers.

The Eastside Horns is a first class party band from RI specializing in R&B, Motown and Soul hits of Stevie Wonder, Teddy Pendergrass, The Temptations, and other classic and contemporary artists.

With spectacular original arrangements by musical director and world class trumpeter John Allmark, The ESH combines precision horn lines and solos with superb vocals and one of the greatest rhythm sections around to produce a first class sound great for dancing, listening or partying.

ESH also uses some of New England's greatest vocalists. Performing most often with the superb trio of Mac Odom and Chill, ESH also features Boston greats Patresha Gayle, Athene Wilson, Malik Fareed, Perry Rossi, Leon Beal, Jeff Thomas, and others.

Formed in 2005 by Allmark and Trombonist Artie Montanaro, ESH are available for weddings and functions of all sizes in the RI, MA, and CT areas and beyond. They perform regularly at Providence's premiere nightclub, The Hi-Hat.

The John Allmark's Jazz Orchestra is RI's premiere concert jazz orchestra, playing weekly at the legendary Bovi's Tavern for over 10 years, and is available for Jazz Concerts, Festivals, and College or High School guest appearances.

Using the areas most outstanding jazz players and featuring the virtuostic skills of Allmark, this 14 piece ensemble provides fantastic original arrangements of the greatest big bands and jazz orchestra's of all era's and features superb improvisation and ensemble jazz.

Eastside Music also offers the finest musicians for Ceremonies of all types including Organists, Vocalists, Flute and Harp duo, String Quartet, and the royal and elegant sound of the acclaimed East Side Brass Quintet.
